CD25 is not ubiquitously expressed; instead, it is typically found on the surface of activated T cells, including regulatory T cells (Tregs). It is also present in some B cells, activated monocytes, and dendritic cells. Importantly, CD25 expression is upregulated upon activation of these immune cells, indicating its role in immune response regulation.
