What Are the Histological Changes Observed After CAR T Cell Therapy?
Following CAR T cell infusion, several histological changes might be observed:
- Lymphocyte Infiltration: Increased presence of T cells in the tumor microenvironment. - Tumor Necrosis: Signs of cell death and reduction in tumor cell density. - Fibrosis and Scarring: Long-term changes may include fibrosis as the tissue repairs itself.
