Nogo-A is primarily found in the central nervous system but is also expressed in other tissues. In the CNS, it is mainly located in the oligodendrocytes, the myelin-producing cells. It is also found in neurons, particularly in the endoplasmic reticulum, where it impacts cellular functions.
