- Hyperplasia: An increase in the number of normal cells in a tissue or organ. - Dysplasia: Abnormal cells that show changes in size, shape, and organization. - Neoplasia: Uncontrolled, abnormal growth of cells that form a neoplasm or tumor. - Anaplasia: Cells that have lost their differentiation and exhibit primitive, undifferentiated characteristics.
