CD34 is primarily found on the surface of hematopoietic stem cells in the bone marrow. It is also expressed on endothelial cells, some fibroblasts, and other progenitor cells. In the context of vascular biology, CD34 is a marker for identifying endothelial cells lining blood vessels.
