What Are the Morphological Changes Induced by IL-4?
IL-4 induces several morphological changes in cells. For example, it promotes the expression of MHC class II molecules on the surface of B cells and macrophages, enhancing their capability to present antigens. Additionally, IL-4 can cause an increase in the size of germinal centers in lymphoid tissues, reflecting enhanced B cell activity.
