Adrenal cortical adenomas are benign tumors that arise from the cortex of the adrenal gland. They are often discovered incidentally during imaging studies for other conditions and are commonly referred to as "incidentalomas." Despite being benign, these adenomas can sometimes produce hormones, leading to clinical syndromes.
