Cloverleaf structures are predominantly found in tRNA molecules, where they play a critical role in the translation phase of protein synthesis. Additionally, similar patterns can be seen in the folding of certain RNA and DNA sequences, as well as in some pathological states where cellular membranes exhibit abnormal folding.
