Currently, there are no specific treatments that target Pick bodies or halt their formation. Management of Pickâs disease primarily focuses on symptomatic relief and supportive care. Research is ongoing to understand the molecular mechanisms underlying tau pathology, which may eventually lead to targeted therapies for Pickâs disease and other tauopathies.
