What Techniques are Used to Study Glutamate in Histology?
Several techniques are employed to study glutamate in histological samples. Immunohistochemistry (IHC) can be used to detect glutamate and its receptors in tissue sections using specific antibodies. In situ hybridization allows for the localization of mRNA for glutamate receptors.
