Besides ependymomas, other tumors can exhibit rosette-like formations. For instance, neuroblastomas may show Homer Wright rosettes, which are different from ependymal rosettes in their cellular arrangement and lack a central lumen. Pineoblastomas and retinoblastomas are also known to form rosettes, but their appearance and cellular composition differ from true ependymal rosettes.
