OpenSPIM (Open Selective Plane Illumination Microscopy) is an open-source, low-cost, modular microscopy platform designed to facilitate the study of biological specimens, including histological samples. It employs a technique called Selective Plane Illumination Microscopy which allows for high-resolution, three-dimensional imaging of transparent or semi-transparent specimens.
