Decreased inflammation refers to the reduction in the inflammatory response within tissues. This can occur naturally as part of the healing process or be induced by anti-inflammatory treatments. Histologically, decreased inflammation is characterized by reduced numbers of inflammatory cells, less edema, and normalized tissue architecture.
