What are the Basic Tissue Types in the Human Body?
There are four primary types of tissues in the human body:
Epithelial Tissue: Covers body surfaces and lines hollow organs, body cavities, and ducts. It also forms glands. Connective Tissue: Supports and protects body organs, binds tissues together, stores energy, and provides immunity. Muscle Tissue: Responsible for movement and generation of force. Nervous Tissue: Initiates and transmits nerve impulses that help control body activities.
