Histologically, lobulation can be identified through microscopic examination of tissue sections. Hematoxylin and eosin (H&E) staining is commonly used to highlight the structural details. In addition, special staining techniques and imaging modalities such as electron microscopy and immunohistochemistry can provide deeper insights into the cellular and subcellular organization of lobules.
