troponin c (tnc)
What Types of Troponin C Exist?
There are two main isoforms of TnC:
- Skeletal TnC: Found in skeletal muscle fibers.
- Cardiac TnC: Found in cardiac muscle fibers.
Both isoforms have similar structures and functions but differ in their amino acid sequences and binding affinities.
