Guttata, often referred to as corneal guttata, are small, wart-like excrescences on the posterior surface of the cornea. They are typically associated with a condition known as Fuchs' endothelial dystrophy (FED), a progressive disease that affects the corneal endothelium. These excrescences are deposits of abnormal collagen and are best observed using slit-lamp biomicroscopy.
