Mild Dysplasia: Also known as low-grade dysplasia, this form shows slight abnormalities in the lower third of the epithelium. Moderate Dysplasia: Shows more pronounced abnormalities, extending up to the middle third of the epithelium. Severe Dysplasia: Also known as high-grade dysplasia, the abnormalities extend throughout the full thickness of the epithelium but do not invade the basement membrane.
