How to Prepare a Wet Mount?

The preparation of a wet mount involves several steps:
1. Sample Collection: Obtain the tissue or cell sample to be examined.
2. Liquid Medium: Place a drop of a suitable liquid medium (e.g., saline, water, or culture medium) on a clean microscope slide.
3. Mounting the Sample: Carefully place the specimen in the drop of liquid.
4. Cover Slip: Gently lower a cover slip over the specimen to avoid air bubbles, ensuring even distribution of the liquid.
5. Observation: Place the slide on the microscope stage for immediate observation under the appropriate magnification.
