Dehydration: The tissue sample is dehydrated using graded alcohol series to remove water. Clearing: The dehydrated tissues are then immersed in Histoclear to make them transparent. Infiltration: The cleared tissues are infiltrated with molten paraffin wax. Embedding: The wax-infiltrated tissues are embedded in paraffin blocks for sectioning.
