Neoplastic lesions are primarily classified into two categories:
- Benign Neoplasms: These are non-cancerous growths that do not invade surrounding tissues or metastasize to distant sites. Examples include lipomas, fibromas, and adenomas. - Malignant Neoplasms: These are cancerous growths that have the potential to invade nearby tissues and metastasize to other parts of the body. Examples include carcinomas, sarcomas, and lymphomas.
